Vendor Rules, Terms & Conditions
2026 Season (Updated June 2026)

General Participation Agreement

  1. 1.By submitting an application, vendors agree to comply with all Milwood Market Rules, Terms, and Conditions, as well as all applicable City of Austin regulations, permitting requirements, fire codes, and safety standards. Acceptance is contingent upon compliance with these requirements.

Eligibility & Juried Approval

  1. 2.Milwood Market accepts vendors offering handcrafted goods, locally made products, or food items aligned with market standards. MLMs, direct sales, and business services are not permitted.
  2. 3.This is a juried market designed to ensure a diverse and balanced vendor selection. Applications must include product photos, a website, and/or social media links that clearly represent the items being sold.
  3. 4.Approval notifications will be sent via email within 5 days. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.

Booth Space & Setup

  1. 5.Standard booth spaces are 10' x 10' unless otherwise specified.
  2. 6.Vendors are responsible for all booth setup materials, including canopies, tables, chairs, signage, and equipment. Booth areas must remain organized and may not obstruct walkways, aisles, or emergency access routes.
  3. 7.Canopies are required for all booth spaces and must be secured with a minimum of 40 lbs per leg at all times.
  4. 8.Vendors may access their booth for setup and teardown up to 2 hours before and after the event. Vehicles may be used for loading and unloading only.
  5. 9.Vendors are required to remain for the full market duration. Early teardown is not permitted without prior approval. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in removal from future markets.

Conduct & Operations

  1. 10.Soliciting is not permitted. Vendors may not shout, leave their booth to distribute samples, or otherwise disrupt other vendors or guests.
  2. 11.All signage must be neat, professional, and clearly identify the vendor and/or booth offerings.
  3. 12.Vendors must provide a trash receptacle for their booth and remove all waste at teardown. Market trash bins are for public use only.

Fees, Payment & Cancellation

  1. 13.Acceptance serves as a reservation only; booth spaces are not confirmed until payment is received.
  2. 14.Payment is due within 72 hours of acceptance, unless prior arrangements have been made with the organizer. Unpaid reservations by the due date may be released and offered to a vendor on the waitlist.
  3. 15.Once paid, booth fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  4. 16.Milwood Market is a rain-or-shine event unless conditions are deemed unsafe. If the market is canceled by the organizer, every reasonable effort will be made to reschedule or offer a makeup date. If a makeup date cannot be arranged, refunds may be issued at the organizer’s discretion.
  5. 17.Cancellations and no-shows will result in forfeiture of booth fee and may affect future participation in markets.

Parking

  1. 18.Vendors must use designated vendor parking areas only.
  2. 19.Restricted areas are to remain clear for tenants and tenant guests at all times. Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced.

Insurance & Liability

  1. 20.Vendors selling food or beverages for immediate consumption must provide proof of liability insurance before participation.
  2. 21.Vendors participate at their own risk and are solely responsible for any injury, loss, theft, or property damage arising from their participation in the market.
  3. 22.Vendors agree to release and hold harmless Milwood Market, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, property owners, and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from their participation in the market.
  4. 23.Vendors agree to indemnify and defend Milwood Market, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, property owners, and representatives against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from their products, booth operations, or participation in the market.
  5. 24.Vendors are responsible for any damage caused by their tents, equipment, products, or representatives.

Fire Safety & Permit Compliance

  1. 25.All canopies must be flame resistant and compliant with NFPA 701 standards. Vendors are responsible for ensuring compliance and must be able to provide documentation upon request. Noncompliance may result in removal of canopy or removal from the market.
  2. 26.Vendors are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any permits or certificates required for their products or operations and may be asked to provide documentation prior to participation.
  3. 27.For Food & Beverage Vendors: The market organizer is responsible for obtaining applicable food and beverage permits for market participation.
    • Vendors agree to provide any information or documentation required for permit applications no later than 14 days prior to the market date.
    • Vendors must comply with all applicable health, fire safety, and permit requirements.
    • Failure to provide requested information or comply with these requirements may result in denial of participation or removal from the market.

Market Rights

  1. 28.Milwood Market reserves the right to refuse, revoke approval, or remove any vendor before or during the event for violation of market rules, unsafe behavior, or noncompliance with applicable laws or safety requirements.
  2. 29.All decisions made by the organizer are final and binding.
